Note: In order to stream video from Floodlight Camera, you need to make sure the Wi-Fisignal strength is strong at the location where you want to install Floodlight Camera. INSTALLATION AND WIRING

Mount floodlight Camera outdoors

Nota:

1. Without professional guidance, disassembling or replacing any part of the product is not allowed. This manual is for reference only. Unless proper safety measures are taken, working with electricity is dangerous. We recommend that you hire a licensed electrician.

2. Make sure the Wi-Fi signal strength of the position to install the floodlight camera is correct. If the location’s Wi-Fi signal is not smooth, it is likely to cause the floodlight camera to work improperly. You may consider moving the wireless routers closer to FloodlightCamera or using a Wi-Fi range extender.

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION

Step 1

Shut down the circuit breaker in your house. Switch ON/OFF the lights to make sure the electricity in your house is properly shut off.

Electricity is dangerous. The power must be cut off before installing the product.

Nota:

1. Please make sure the power supply voltage is AC 100-240V.

2. Appropriate grounding device.

3. Do not connect this lighting device to a dimmer switch or timer.

4. When having wired installing connections, please always follow the norms andstandards.

5. Do not install near flammable or combustible surfaces.

Step 2

Two Installation Methods:

Users can hang the Floodlight Camera upside down or install it vertically on the wall. Select the installation method that best suits the position of your function box.

Eave Mount:

For upside-down installation, turn the camera down to the end. When it’s placed vertically, turn the camera 180Ā°in a clockwise direction.

Wall Mount:

For vertical installation, hang the camera on the junction box with the hook provided, and then you can free your hands for wiring.

AMERICAN VERSION INSTALLATION STEPS

Step 1 Install the mounting plate to the junction box

Remove the old Floodlight from the junction box and install the mounting plate to the junction box.

The junction box and existing electrical wires are required for FloodlightCamera installation.

The concave side of the mounting plate must face outwards.

Step 2 Connect ground wires.

Connect both ground wires (yellow or green) from the junction box and FloodlightCamera and join the wires by using a wire nut.

Nota:

If the existing ground wire has been connected to the junction box or there’s no ground wire, connect the ground wire of the Floodlight Camera to the junction box or mounting plate directly.

Step 3 Connect neutral and hot wires.

Use wire nuts to connect Floodlight Camera wires to the rest of the wires from the junction box.

1. Connect the white wire on the Floodlight Camera to the white wire(neutral) from the junction box.

2. Connect the black wire on the Floodlight Camera to the black wire(hot) from the junction box.

Step 4 Insert the central screw

1. Insert the central screw through the center of the Floodlight Camera and screw it tightly.

2. Use the central screw cap to cover the central screw to prevent the central screw from thrusting.

EUROPEAN VERSION INSTALLATION STEPS

Step 1 Remove the waterproof plug and thread

1. Remove the waterproof plug in the junction box

2. Find the wire hold and thread

Nota:

If you don’t have existing wires outdoors, contact a licensed electrician to run the wires.

Step 2 Install the junction box

1. Orientate the two mounting holes vertically to ensure stable mounting.

2. On wooden walls, DO NOT pre-drill holes. Use the screws provided to fix the junction box onto the wall.

3. On walls that are made out of hard materials, such as brick or concrete, drill holes with a 15/64 inch (6 mm) drill bit, and then insert the anchors provided into the holes. Use the screws provided to fix the junction box on the wall.

Step 3 Connect electrical wires to the junction box

Unscrew the bolt with a flat-head screwdriver. Connect the Neutral (ā€œNā€ blue)Ground (green/green and yellow) / Live(ā€œLā€ brown) wire to the Neutral /Ground/Livewire connector in the junction box, respectively. Secure the wires tightly to prevent wires from falling.

Step 4: Hang the floodlight camera.

Step 5 Connect wires

1. Connect the Ground wire from the Floodlight Camera to the Ground wire from the wire connector in the junction box.

2. Connect the Live / Neutral wire from the Floodlight Camera to the Live / Neutral wire from the wire connector in the junction box respectively.

3. Secure the wires with a flat-head screwdriver.

Nota:

Green and yellow, brown and blue wires must connect to the matching colors. Never cross-connect.

Step 6 Insert the central screw

1. Insert the central screw through the center of the Floodlight Camera and screw it tightly.

2. Use the central screw cap to cover the central screw to prevent the central screw from rusting.

INSTALLATION ANGLE

After installation is complete, you can turn the camera knobs on Floodlight Camera to adjust the camera to your desired angle.

0-15 degrees is the best angle; the greater the angle, the smaller the PIR detection distance

PRECAUTIONS AFTER INSTALLATION

Switch on the main circuit breaker in the house.

To check whether the Floodlight Camera is operating, check if the LED indicator has turned Red.

If the work indicator of the floodlight camera is not bright, the power has failed. There may be the following reasons:

1. The wires in the junction box are not energized. They are invalid wires.

2. The three wires of the neutral wire, live wire, and ground wire are connected in the wrong sequence.

3. The three wires of neutral wire, live wire, and ground wire are in poor contact with the waterproof terminal.

In case the Floodlight Camera is not powered on, switch off the circuit breaker before checking the wiring of the Floodlight Camera.To avoid the risk of shock, injury, or death, always be cautious when working with electricity. APP DOWNLOAD AND CAMERA SETTINGS

Step 1 Download ā€œCloudEdgeā€ APP

Search ā€œCloudedgeā€ in the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR Code to download and install on your phone.

NOTE: Please OPEN 2 permissions below when first setting up the App

1. Allow CloudEdge to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN, or it will fail to add an IP camera.

2. Allow CloudEdge to receive a pushed message, or the cellphone will not receive an alarm push when motion detection or audible alarm is triggered.

Step 2 Register account

New users need to register by e-mail. The concrete steps are as follows!

  • 1. Click ā€œRegister. ā€œ
  • 2. Follow the steps to complete the registration of the account.
  • 3.Log in.

Tips :

1. Please use the correct email.
2. Please choose the correct country code.
3. When registering a new account, please choose the region which you are actually in. (Different registered regions can’t share the camera.)

Step 3 Connect WI-FI

NOTE: Please note that the camera only works under 2.4G Wi-Fi and does not support 5G Wi-Fi.

1. Run CloudEdge App, Click +, and selectā€œFloodlight Camera.ā€

2. Follow the instructions to ensure that the camera is activated. (The indicator light is turning red and flashing slowly).

3. Select 2.4Ghz WiFi SSID, input the password, and tapā€œNext.ā€

4. Select QR Code Configurationā€ and align the QR code with the camera lens at a distance of 15cm until the QR code is recognized. After hearing the sound ā€œBugu,ā€ tap ā€œ HearTone.ā€

5. After clickingā€œHear tone,ā€ the camera will start connecting to WIFI. When connection5finished, the app will skip to the ā€œSearch to Deviceā€ page; you can edit the camera name and then click ā€œDONEā€ to switch to the My Device list, where you can watch real-time video.

How do we deal with any problem with the WI-FI connection?

1. Please ensure that you have used 2.4GHz WI-Fl. According to our experience, the reasons for the failure of WI-Fl connection from most users are the wrong Wi-Fi format selection and the wrong use of 5GHz WIFI to add the camera.

2. Make sure you use the correct Wi-Fi password and smooth network speed.

3. Make sure the Wi-Fi signal strength of the position to install the floodlight camera is correct; if the location Wi-Fi signal is not smooth, it is likely to cause the floodlight camera to work improperly. You may consider moving the wireless routers closer to FloodlightCamera or using a Wi-Fi range extender.

4. Restore the product to factory settings, restart the router, and add it again.

Light About Settings

1. Motion for Lights: Set the PIR detection sensitivity. Under the night environment, the LED lights are on when the PIR sensor detects moving objects.

2. Light Schedule: The LED lights are always on during the set time period.

3. Adjust Brightness: Support 7-level LED brightness Adjustment.

DEVICE SHARING

How do others access the Floodlight Camera?

Realize this function throughā€œDevice Shareā€™

1. Invite your friends to download and install CloudEdge’APP and log in.

2. Click the ‘Device Share’ icon to watch the operation video, and follow the steps to finish sharing the device.

Tips: When you have a sharing, please make sure the APP account is registered in the same region. Otherwise, you won’t share successfully.

SD CARD RECORDING

The SD card is not included. Please purchase it by yourself if you need an SD card to store files.

Requirements for SD card

1. It is recommended to use San Disk, Samsung, and other brand cards;

2. Support 2-128GB capacity;

3. It is recommended to use standard Class 10 micro SD card;

4. Only support FAT32 format.

Note: If you insert a memory card into the SD card slot of the floodlight camera before powering it on, the floodlight will automatically start saving the video. You can set event recording or full-day recording.

How to watch the video on the SD card:

1. Click the History or ‘video playbackā€™ button of the alarm information icon in the APP to enter the video playback interface. Drag the time axis or select the alarm point to find the corresponding time period recording that you need.

2. Insert the SD card into the computer. The video files are in MP4 format. You could directly use the player to play the video.

FAQS

Q1: How do we solve if the device prompts offline?

  • 1. Check whether the equipment is in the power-on state and observe whether the working indicator of the equipment is on normally.
  • 2. Check whether the WIFI network is in good condition and restart the router.
  • 3. If the device is located far away from the router, it results in the inability to obtain a good WIFl signal. It is recommended to move the router to a closer place or add an aWIFl amplifier to improve the WIFI performance.
  • 4. Delete the floodlight camera from your CloudEdge account and add it again after resetting the device.
  • 5. Check whether the device firmware and application are the latest versions.

Q2: How does it operate if you want to update the router or WIFI password?

Delete the floodlight camera from your CloudEdge account after resetting the device. Use the new WIFlor password to add it again.

Q3: How do you solve if you can’t play historical videos?

  • 1. Check the SD card status in “Settings” to ensure that the SD card has been identified successfully.
  • 2. Re-insert the SD card.
  • 3. Format the SD card in the application.
  • 4. Try another new SD card.

Q4:The alarm pushes frequently. How to adjust?

  • 1. In the app, lower the sensitivity of the motion detection alarm.
  • 2. Set the alarm area and control the alarm monitoring range according to your needs.
  • 3. Turn on “Alarm when only people appear” to use a humanoid algorithm to filter useless alarms.

Q5: What should I do if the phone cannot receive the alert notification?

  • 1. Turn on the push permission of the “CloudEdge” APP in the phone system.
  • 2. Ensure that the device’s motion detection is turned on successfully.
  • 3. Restart the phone. Try to clear the cache if your phone is on the Android system.
  • 4. Check whether the network is good.

Q6: The LED light turns on frequently at night. How to solve it?

The application-“Motion for Lightsā€ lowers the PIR monitoring sensitivity.

Q7: What should I do if the LED lights are always on?

  • 1. Check whether theā€œLED’button in the APP is turned on.
  • 2. Check whether there is a problem with the time setting in the ā€œLight Schedule.’

Q8: What should I do if the camera falls off during installation?
